We invite you to the 1st Apfel Arena Basket Legends Cup, a veterans basketball tournament that will take place at the sports and cultural center Apfel Arena in Makarska from October 12th to October 15th, 2023.

The tournament is organized for the following categories:

Women: 35+/45+

Men: 35+/45+/50+

with the possibility of playing two younger players.
The participation fee for teams staying in organized accommodation is 150€. The participation fee for teams arranging their own accommodation is 200€ for female teams and 250€ for male teams.

The matches will be played for 4×7 minutes each.

To ensure everyone has a great time, we have organized a three-day entertainment program with live music and DJs.

How to reach Makarska:

by car- highway A1, or along the Croatian coast from Rijeka to Split or Makarska.
by plane – from Split (80 km from Split) or Dubrovnik ( 165km from Makarska).

From Dubrovnik or Split, frequent bus lines are available to Makarska.

Attractions:

Makarska is the center of the Makarska Riviera, one of the most popular tourist destinations in Croatia. One of the main sights in the town is the Franciscan monastery, which was built in 1614. The basement of the monastery houses a Malacological museum which apparently has the largest collection of snails, shells and mussels in the world. Another important sight is the Parish Church of St. Mark, on the main square (Kacicev trg), which was built in 1776. Skywalk Biokovo is located at the Ravna Vlaška area, in Biokovo Nature Park , at an elevation of 1228 metres, right next to the info centar at the 13th kilometre of the Biokovo road.
