Apfel Arena Makarska Half Marathon is a road race with a total length of 21,097.5 meters. The starting point is located at the Riva in Makarska (43.29371303655224, 17.019484437669472), and the finish line is in front of the Apfel Arena (43.28295349259054, 17.034575353351364), also in Makarska. In addition to passing through the Makarska, the half marathon route goes through the Tučepi and Podgora.

This year will mark the third edition of these races, and both routes have been modified compared to previous years.
The start of the Half marathon (and relay) race is on October 27, 2024, at 10:00 AM. The race follows a circular route, starting for the first time at the Riva. After an attractive loop around Makarska, it continues through the Tučepi and Podgora along the coast, before returning via the Jadranska magistrala back to the Apfel Arena in Makarska. The road will be completely closed to traffic throughout the race.
The day before the half marathon, a 5km race and kids races will also take place. This year, over 1,000 participants from more than 25 countries are expected to take part in the events.
