Summer Sports Program

This summer, we have specially prepared a summer sports program for you and your little ones. The program will be held during July and August in the morning and afternoon. We have organized 4 different summer programs so that every child can find something suitable.

The camp can be booked ona a daily or weekly basis.

  • The organizer reserves the right to cancel any individual summer program if there are not enough registered children and to change the schedule as needed.

1. Girls’ Football Program

Apfel Arena is the only girls’ football program in the Makarska Riviera area. The head of the football program is Prof. Darko Vlatković, a coach with a PRO license, lecturer at the Croatian Football Federation Academy, and coordinator of the Omiš-Makarska football center at the Split-Dalmatia County Football Association. Each training session is scheduled to last 60 minutes, and through the summer program, participants will go through various phases of learning football: basic dribbling, passing, shooting, and tactical formations. Exercises to improve agility, speed, and strength are also an important part of the program. In addition to physical training, theoretical sessions will be conducted to understand the rules of the game and tactical concepts. Participants may be divided into groups depending on their abilities. The program is tailored for ages 7 to 15 and is intended exclusively for girls.

July from 19:30 – 20:30 Mon – Wed – Fri

August from 11:00 – 13:00 Mon – Wed – Fri

2. Basketball Program

Apfel Arena’s basketball program is intended for girls and boys aged 6 to 12. Participants in the summer program will have the opportunity to develop basic basketball skills such as dribbling, shooting, passing, and defense. They will also learn about game strategies, including positioning, moving without the ball, and teamwork. Each training session is scheduled to last 90 minutes, and through the program, participants will go through various phases of learning basketball and work on improving agility, speed, and strength. In addition to physical training, theoretical sessions will be conducted to understand the rules of the game and tactical concepts. Participants may be divided into groups depending on their abilities.

July and August from 16:00 – 17:30 Mon – Wed – Fri

3. Universal Sports Program (6-10 years)

The universal sports program is intended for girls and boys aged 6 to 10 and aims for comprehensive physical development and the acquisition of basic sports skills. This type of program is usually adapted to children of different ages and abilities, allowing them to develop motor skills, coordination, strength, endurance, and flexibility through play and fun activities. The goal is for children to acquire basic knowledge and skills in multiple sports disciplines, such as football, basketball, athletics, etc. The program is designed to encourage the overall development of the child – physical, emotional, social, and intellectual. The focus is on developing a love for sports and a healthy lifestyle. Participants may be divided into groups depending on their abilities. The program is tailored for ages 6 to 10 and is intended for both girls and boys.

July and August from 09:30 – 11:00 Mon – Wed – Fri

4. Universal Sports Program (4-6 years)

The universal sports program is intended for girls and boys aged 4 to 6, where children develop their motor and functional abilities and coordination through play and fun, all under the guidance of a kinesiologist.
